Recommendations of Use

1. Ensure that the blade used is suitable for the material being cut.

2. The blade should always be mounted with the rotation arrow pointed in the correct direction.

3. Ensure that the bore diameter (arbor) of the blade is of the same size as the machine spindle.  Never enlarge the bore (arbor).

4. Special attention should be made to ensure that the blade flanges are both clean and of the same diameter.

5. Observe the working site safety regulations.  It is of the highest importance that the blade guard is always correctly fitted and used.

6. To ensure long blade life, avoid brutal or sharp contact with the material to be cut.

7. Avoid excessive cutting pressure which could jam the blade in the material.

8. When using a straight cutting blade on hand-held machines, maintain a straight cutting plane avoiding load or twist.

9. When using the blade for extensive periods, the high generation of heat can cause a vibration of the blade.  To assist cooling, simply run the blade out of the material for several seconds and then continue cutting.
